Safe Mode boots Android with only the original system apps, temporarily disabling everything you installed. If a problem disappears in Safe Mode, a downloaded app is the culprit.
- 1Press and hold the Power button until the power menu appears.
- 2Touch and hold 'Power off' until 'Reboot to safe mode' pops up, then confirm.
- 3The phone restarts showing 'Safe mode' in a corner of the screen.
- 4Test the problem (crashes, restarts, ads, battery drain).
- 5If it's gone, uninstall recently added apps one by one, restarting normally between removals.
Tip: To exit Safe Mode, simply restart the phone normally.
