Modern phones carry a dozen tiny sensors that apps rely on without you ever seeing them: the accelerometer and gyroscope that rotate the screen and drive games, the magnetometer behind the compass, the proximity sensor that blanks the display during calls, plus GPS and the vibration motor. The tools here read those sensors live, so you can confirm each one responds and reports sensible values.

Sensor faults are easy to miss until a specific feature breaks, like auto-rotate freezing or navigation drifting off course. Testing them is useful after a drop, a repair, or a software update that changed how the phone behaves. Some sensors need permission, such as location or motion, which your browser will request when you start a test. Nothing is stored: every reading stays on your device.
