A boot loop, the phone restarting over and over on the logo, is usually caused by a corrupted update, a faulty app or failing storage. Work through these steps in order.

  1. 1Force restart: hold Power + Volume Down 20 seconds. Sometimes one clean boot is enough.
  2. 2Boot into Safe Mode; if it boots, uninstall the latest apps and updates.
  3. 3Enter Recovery Mode and 'Wipe cache partition', fixes most post-update loops.
  4. 4Still looping? In Recovery, run 'Wipe data/factory reset' (data will be lost).
  5. 5If even a factory reset loops, storage hardware may be failing, repair shop time.

Tip: Charge the phone at least 30 minutes before troubleshooting: a critically empty battery can mimic a boot loop.
