When the Play Store won't load or keeps crashing, the cause is almost always local: stale cache, a broken update or date/time drift. Work down this list, most phones are fixed by step 4.
- 1Restart the phone and confirm the internet works in a browser.
- 2Check date & time are automatic (Settings → System → Date & time), wrong clocks break Google's certificates.
- 3Clear cache: Settings → Apps → Google Play Store → Storage → Clear cache.
- 4Still broken? Tap 'Clear data' (you won't lose apps).
- 5Do the same for 'Google Play services' cache.
- 6Uninstall Play Store updates: Apps → Play Store → menu → Uninstall updates, then let it re-update.
- 7Remove and re-add your Google account.
- 8Last resort: factory reset after a full backup.
