Your phone has two IPs: the local one your router assigned (192.168.x.x, used for casting, file transfer, debugging) and the public one the internet sees. Both take seconds to find.
- 1Local IP: Settings → Network & internet → Wi-Fi → tap the connected network → Advanced/Details → IP address.
- 2Faster: Settings search box → type 'IP address'.
- 3Also visible in Settings → About phone → Status information.
- 4Public IP: search 'what is my IP' in any browser, or check our Device Info tool's connection section.
- 5Note: public IP changes when the router reconnects; local IP can be made static in the network's Advanced options.
Tip: For ADB over Wi-Fi and TV mirroring debugging, it's always the local IP you need.
