Safe Mode is temporary, but sometimes a phone seems stuck in it. In almost every case a clean restart solves it; when it doesn't, a stuck volume button is the classic hidden cause.
- 1Restart normally: hold Power → Restart.
- 2If it returns to Safe Mode, power off completely, wait 30 seconds, and power on.
- 3Check the volume-down button, a jammed button (or a tight case pressing it) re-triggers Safe Mode at boot.
- 4Pull down the notification shade: some phones show a 'Safe mode is on' notification you can tap to disable.
- 5Last resort: back up and factory reset.
Tip: If Safe Mode keeps returning by itself, an app crashing at startup may be forcing it, uninstall the most recent apps.
