A Realme phone that won't power on is usually a drained battery combined with a slow-to-respond Realme UI splash, or a stuck boot animation rather than dead hardware. Realme UI (formerly ColorOS-based) has its own boot sequence quirks worth knowing before you panic.
- 1Connect the original charger and cable and wait a full 20-30 minutes, Realme's Dart/SuperDart fast charging needs a specific handshake and a deeply drained phone can take a while to show even the charging animation.
- 2Force restart: hold Power + Volume Up together for 10-15 seconds, this is the standard combo across most Realme number and GT series phones.
- 3If the screen shows the Realme logo and then goes black, boot into Recovery Mode: power off, then hold Power + Volume Up until the Realme UI recovery menu appears (not the same as the boot logo screen).

Tip: If nothing happens after 30+ minutes on a wall charger with no LED, warmth, or vibration, the battery or charging board has likely failed and needs a repair shop, this is beyond software troubleshooting.
