Wi-Fi issues on Realme phones are usually a saved-network conflict inside Realme UI or a router compatibility quirk, rarely a hardware fault. Work through the software fixes before assuming the Wi-Fi antenna itself is damaged.
- 1Forget the network and rejoin: Settings → Wi-Fi & network → Wi-Fi → tap the network name → Forget, then reconnect with a freshly typed password.
- 2Toggle Airplane Mode on and off to reset the Wi-Fi radio without a full restart.
- 3Check for a Realme UI-specific 'Wi-Fi+' feature that auto-switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data, disable it temporarily under Settings → Wi-Fi & network → Wi-Fi settings, it occasionally causes flapping connections.
- 4If it's one specific network, try switching the router to WPA2 (instead of WPA3-only) or to the 2.4GHz band, some Realme models have documented compatibility gaps with WPA3-only 5GHz networks.
- 5Update system software: Settings → Software update, Realme has shipped connectivity driver fixes for specific models in past patches.
- 6Reset network settings as a last resort: Settings → Additional Settings → Backup and reset → Reset Wi-Fi, mobile network & Bluetooth.
Tip: If Wi-Fi connects but internet browsing fails while other devices work fine, restart the router to clear its DHCP lease table, a full table is a common and overlooked cause.
