Measure your real download speed, latency and jitter in the browser, open Android's Bluetooth chooser to confirm the radio finds nearby devices, and estimate how long a download or update will take at your current speed.

Running a speed test on Wi-Fi and again on mobile data quickly shows whether slowness follows the phone or the network. If Bluetooth cannot find anything here, the problem is more likely phone-side than with your earbuds or speaker.
