About this test
This tool uses the Web Bluetooth API to open Android's official device chooser. If the chooser opens and finds earphones, speakers or other gadgets nearby, your phone's Bluetooth hardware is operational.
It's a quick test to rule out phone-side issues before blaming the earbuds or speaker. Works only in Chromium-based browsers on Android.
Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser. No image, audio or device data is recorded or sent to any server.
Frequently asked questions
It says 'browser not supported', what now?
Web Bluetooth works in Google Chrome (and derivatives) on Android. Safari/iPhone and some browsers are not compatible.
No devices found, is it broken?
Put another device in pairing mode close by. If nothing ever shows with Bluetooth on, the module may be faulty.
