About this test

The vibration motor powers silent alerts, keyboard haptics and notifications. This test fires different patterns through the browser's vibration API so you can confirm the motor responds correctly.

Weak, rattling or skipping vibrations can indicate a worn or faulty motor. Works on Android with Chrome; iPhone doesn't allow browser vibration.

Privacy: this tool runs entirely in your browser. No image, audio or device data is recorded or sent to any server.

Frequently asked questions

The phone doesn't vibrate on any pattern.

Check that silent/do-not-disturb mode isn't disabling vibration and try another browser. If it persists, the motor may be faulty.

Does it work on iPhone?

No. Safari/iOS doesn't expose vibration to web pages. This test targets Android.
